Certification

The Academy

Do I need a medical background to enroll?

No. Level I is designed for beginners and non-medical wellness professionals. Level II suits licensed therapists, and Level III is intended for experienced practitioners and healthcare professionals.

Are courses online or in person?

All modules are delivered online through HD video lectures and interactive assessments, so you can study at your own pace from anywhere.

When does enrollment open?

Enrollment opens in 2026. Waitlist members are notified first and receive founding-cohort pricing.

What do I receive on completion?

An official ICCCH certificate for the level completed, issued after you pass that level's assessment.

Does certification allow me to practice wet cupping legally?

Certification confirms completion of ICCCH training. Licensing and scope-of-practice rules vary by state and country; practitioners are responsible for meeting the requirements in their jurisdiction.

Do I need to buy ICCCH equipment to take a course?

No. Our kits are recommended for training and practice but are not required for enrollment.

Safety & care

Using the instruments

How do I clean and sterilise the cups?

Wash with warm water and a mild, non-abrasive detergent after every session, then disinfect according to your clinic protocol. Cups used for wet cupping must be single-patient or sterilised to clinical standard before reuse.

Can I use these products at home?

Dry cupping can be practised at home by informed adults who follow the contraindications in our disclaimer. Wet cupping should only be performed by trained practitioners.

Who should not use cupping?

Do not cup over broken skin or varicose veins, or on anyone with a bleeding disorder, on anticoagulant medication, or who is pregnant, without professional guidance. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting.
